Info on rear axle/rear suspension (coupe) regarding koni shocks seem to be incorrect. KONI 80 1249, KONI 80 1350 volkswagen beetle REAR shocks are not compatible with coupe rear suspension. I've ordered 80 1249, received it, and can confirm that the mounts are not compatible with the coupe. These parts have top and bottom eye mounts. Im in the process of ordering KONI 80 1787 beetle FRONT shocks. I hope it comes out to be the part i need. KONI north america website does not seem to have visual references to the corresponding part numbers. I'll try to send an update when the parts arrive.
