something like the first and second series of the local bluebirds - 4 speed manual sedans got h165s all the rest are iirc h190s.

Australia-built Datsun 910 Bluebird used disc-over-drum rear axle assembly, and those are brakes are often swapped over to H165 rears.

Bluebird is H190, isn't it? H190 is a 10-bolt diff.

ok, ive now been told by the last owner that it has a bluebird diff? are they H series diffs coz i swear it looks like the same one that i had in my ute haha

H145, H150 and H165 are eight-bolt. So is the Borg Warner 60/68 fitted to 1200s and 120Ys by Nissan Pty Australia.

None came with factory disc brakes that I'm aware of. For common rear disc brake swaps, see Rear Disc Brakes.
