The clearance is very generous with my 13 inch wheels fitted so there is certainly space for larger calipers. May need to consider an alternate mounting when using a bigger caliper though.

i was looking into that d and i think the bolt spacing is closer to 100mm?? i couldn't find a bracket with that bolt spacing chrismight know of something tho

interesting, any idea if the R32 GTR and GTST twin spot rear calipers could be used? They are a good looking bit of kit and very lightweight.

There are two types, The uncommon PBR fitted to the later 120y, arguably the Australian assembled models and the tokico type fitted to the 120y, Sunny and 180B. The tokico type have a small brake pad, considerably smaller than the PBR type. I haven't thought hard enough to figure out which is best but the PBR caliper is certainly better looking.

The two share the same bolt pattern. Those pressed caliper brackets are useful because they are a thinner material able to fit to the front of the stub axle assembly and not interfere with the rotor. I have used a bracket made from much thicker material that fits on the reverse side and only to two bolt holes. There is additional work required but nothing too difficult.

The biggest issue for my old sigma ge disc brake conversion is the brackets are pretty much all gone to china as scrap metal since Sigmas rusted as fast as fiats or alfas

Hi, No flex anywhere, all the relevant forces are looked after with the design. I have a short version, just using this one for now. It will be nose heavy, looking into a bracket off the upper control arm mount. Got to make new brake lines up for now.

Cross flow engine was a great fit but I'm too easily persuaded by the A-series!

I had to mount the master cylinder quite far off the firewall, and also extend the pushrod.

Very happy with the results.

These calipers also share the same bolt pattern as their tokico associates.
