Buy them from Nissan ... or buy the OEM brand from overseas. Nissan/Datsun did not make those cables even back in the day, other companies supplied them. The china companies, those weren't OEM. Only Japanese companies.

im lokoing for a genuine. theres a few overseas shops that still sell them so im after an original NOS.

The cables are

36402-G1000 CABLE ASSY-hand brake, front B120
36450-G1600 CABLE ASSY-PARKING BRAKING [rear] B120 1980/09-1989/10 Short Body only

Hi all, this is my first post but have been viewing the forums for alittle while now gathering info. I'm currently restoring my 85 1200 ute and I've started the rear brakes and diff.

My question is does anybody have a part number for the rear hand brake cable assembly. I've been given 36400-H1001 but measured against mine it is too short both ways. I've rang my local nissan dealer and they have given me 36531-g1000 but searching online I find nothing I assume it's because it's an Australian part number.

If anybody could help it would be greatly appreciated
