A points coil will work just fine with an electronic distributor. But it won't fire large gaps well.
Darren, the resistor suggests that is a low-energy coil. See EI Coil. Bosch HEC715 (made in China) is the generic aftermarket coil for EI systems,

Are u sure cause I been running it for years in my a15 and for 18 months on my carby 4age they both seem to be running pretty good , does makes me wonder but cause I just went off advice of my carb tuner and just went and bought it,

I run a bosh su12 I think off the top of my head . Don't know if that helps u but.

Got a e15 dizzy im fitting tomorrow need a full 12v coil anyone recommend bosch hec715
