I notice you got a adjustable timing gear, I found it didn't make any diffance to your performance to your motor.you ajust it high or low you lose it one way or another it's only good for twin cam motors where you can do the timing different to ex/in

Machined for the Valves... 10.5:1 compression. Didn't want any detonation problems on pump gas.

We all learn the hard way usually. Sorry to hear that but pls take a pic of the crankshaft if you have the chance to see its knife edging. Your pistons are flat tops or flycut/notched for valves?

Hey Guys! Thanks for the replies. Yes, I applied sealant in the cap corners.. It's damn frustrating! This engine will be coming out for a third time..Grrrrrrr

Speedholes on the engine mount love it, forgot Cal weather rids you heater needs, stainless water pipe YES!

Yep very necessary to dab a thin layer of sealant all round front and rear seals especially main cap, sure hes done that with that keen eye for detail? love the brass looking front crank pulley bolt!

Did you out sealant under the main cap before torquing it down ? I had the same problem I thought the rear main seal was leaking with my fresh motor didn't realise they ran sealant under the cap
