i was a little hesitant to smash them too hard, but i have 3 going really loudly and one very faint. Had enough for the day today and the battery im using is going flat.

Will try test firing it tomorrow...fingers crossed im getting closer. No fault codes on the ecu so looking good!

Good stuff. Mine was the same, it managed the start running on two injectors. You would be surprised how hard you can hit the injectors to help get them moving again. I still had to get my injectors cleaned to get it to run properly.

ok, so i called the guru for help. Injectors stuck, disconnected ecu and earthed the injectors quickly via the loom. So far i have got two of for to pulse.
wish me luck

cheers 1200ute,
im not sure on the state of the injectors yet, but they aren't getting a signal at all cause i checked with a noid light. it does appear there is voltage to the resistor pack.

Are you sure the injectors are ok and not gummed up from sitting? I had Kev come round the first time I started my CA and he checked the injectors by supplying power and earth at the injectors and again through the harness to see if they were clicking.

As suggested, Kev will have ideas on what to check and will probably walk you through what to do.

I swapped the relay out and yeah thats working,
Just went and got my multimeter from the roastery. I have 12v to coils, and 12v to dropping resister, but there is 12v on all wires of the dropping resistor. So i would assume the dropping resistor is faulty?

Best advice I can offer is to give Kev a call since you've used one of his wiring looms. He is a wiring guru and helped me out when I got stuck....but a check of the relay could be worthwhile too if your not getting power to the injectors. Can you at a minimum swap the working fuel pump relay with the injector relay and see if you still hear the pumps prime. Don't know if this would cause it but do you have an earth lead off the ignitor box and have you pulled the fuel inlet hose off at the fuel rail to confirm fuel is getting up to the motor?

well i would guess your relay is faulty or wiring to them is incorrect

you should be able to ensure outut from the relay for the coils with a multimeter, if there is none check that the relay is getting the correct signal etc

Hey guys,

Just trying to test fire datto. Got spark, no fuel....checked with noid light to find no signal to injectors

Heres the background info. stock motor, stock ecu

ECU code 55 - normal operation - tried two ecu's
motor has no intercooler hooked up yet
no intake hooked up but do have the afm connected
Timing is good - checked
fuel lines connected correctly
all plugs connected correctly
earth to body
earth to block
earth to head
dropping resistor connected
fuel pumps working perfectly and prime before cranking
tps connected

scratching my head. i know i must have missed something...not sure what it is yet.
any help would be appreciated
cheers
