Turns out i was sold thewrong alternator. needed one with the internal reg. now 2 weeks waiting for the swapover :/

It should work with the stock wiring. What problem are you running into?

Take couple pics and post up here through photo bucket. You mean terminals f and n on the back of the alternator correct?
Is it a bosch or Hitachi alternator. I can look at mine in morning. Too dark and cold outside now

Recently brought a remanufacted alternator for my datsun stanza and have trouble wiring it it/ finding wiring diagrams. It is an FN type alternator and I have a 1979 Datsun stanza gx. Has anyone got some experience in this area who can assit me? Cheers,Pricey
