I took the head off my ca18det on Friday and they had a solid bucket type part over the valves. Will be looking at buying supertech valve train and they had them listed as buckets that's why I asked.Heres a pic off what im talking about.

So is it correct to say the A12 uses buckets? I understood that to mean cam followers that fit over valves (shim type lifters).

Some overhead cam engines use buckets. A pushrod engine uses lifters.
