Generally speaking I won't post unless I have something useful or meaningfull to say. No need to waste posts.

Besides I don't even have the 1200 yet, speaking of which I should be able to pick it up by Australia Day. You will have your cage very very soon. ;)

I was wondering if you were ever going to post!

yeah, go for it! back when I was tinkering around with the sedan I tried the rear spoiler on (with masking tape) and it looked fantastic!

it's all pretty straightforward.

the fronts just bolt on, and you simply cut away the original wheelarch below the flare with a jigsaw or whatever.

the rears are basically the same principle, but you need to do a bit of welding of the inner wheelarch to the rear quarter panel. Steve has just fitted his own rear flares and it only took an afternoon.

no, you just have to cut the rear flares if you're fitting it to a sedan to allow the door to open. I'm going to fit a set to my sedan - I'll post pics when I get around to doing it.

when you say all this do you mean that there is split flares for on 4 door sedans so the back doors can still open?

would the rear flare fit onto a ute?
Yes it will fit the ute. The profile of the rear quarters is basically the same on all 1200's. There are minor differences in the rear wheelarch shape between the sedan and the coupe that I know of, but nothing that will prevent the flare from being fitted.
