FYI Jeff (geoff?) The carburettor trumpets pictured MIGHT be suited to the 36PHH Solex Mikuni Carburettors pictured (mistakenly labelled as 40PHH which shares the DCOE DHLA bolt pattern) the 36PHH pattern is that of the DHLB and DCOF patterns so you may find they are not applicable to your carburettors (best to check first).

The carbs fitted to the manifold are 36PHH Mikunis on a round port manifold, any true 1000 enthusiast would recognise this assembly as the Solexcel upgrade offered post factory by (SOL) EXCEL. These seem to have been sold by the competiton department in the states but not listed in their catalogues (I think).

Here is another set for sale- mistakenly advertised for the second time running.

They are a good upgrade for round port motors. I run the DHLB variants on a round port small chamber A14 and it hauls ass. I intend to fit a set up to a worked A10 that I've had stashed.

Cleaning out the garage.

I have a small batch of A-Series engine parts that have been collecting dust on the shelves in my garage for about 40 years (since we quit SCCA racing a Datsun 1200). There is pretty close to a complete 1200 race engine. I believe that the parts fit DATSUN 1200, B10, B110, B210, B310, A12, A14, A15, etc. Many parts are NOS (New Old Stock). Many of these parts are still in their original factory box.
