It sounds like a loose wire or bad connection.

Hi all
I am having trouble with the clock in my Datsun ute. when we brought the car of the original owner he said that after a few weeks of getting the car the clock just stopped working. then he also said when we went to pick up the car that the clock was working recently that week and out of the blue it just stopped, would this be a faulty connection or a faulty clock.?
