Flatto,
Click on the bids link just above the "place bid" icon. just scroll down on that page where it shows the bidding history. You should see Bid retraction and cancellation history.

I noticed the same thing, but how on earth did you see their maximum bid? At least they retracted the big before it was over without screwing over the seller

So bid has gone from 14bids to 8bids. Price from $5300aud to $5100aud.
Checked bidding history and one user has cancelled their bid which had a max $7000aud. It's the same user who went from 1550 to 3700 and kept bidding up in very large increments. Interesting to see how it will pan out.

My money says it will be relisted or sold privately.. if its over 5k and only one persons seen it, the usual ebay price dicks have jacked the Auction and people who would actually buy and pay for the car have to wait. Meanwhile the owner is going to get stuffed around.. Sad to see but very common.

Flatto,
as you implied, a cars worth what a buyer wants to pay for it. Most of the time a genuine buyer will inspect a car they are interested in. I also don't want to have an influence in sale of the car. i've sent u a pm of my opinion cheers

Obviously it's of different value for everyone, but what would you pay for it considering you've seen it?

I inspected that coupe yesterday.
Apparently no one else had inspected it yet and it was already on 5k on ebay. Interesting how people bid for such amounts without even inspecting a car but this happens alot. Seller is a very friendly bloke and gives you as much time as you want to go over the car. cheers

Far out that jumped up quick, over 5k after the first day. Makes me feel better for paying so much for my coupe!
