Yes, you can put an oval port head on a A12. Datsun did it in 1970, creating the famous A12GX Engine. It has ports larger than A14/A15 engines.

g'day all I am only new to this site I am restoring a 1200 ute I was wondering can I either put an oval port head on a A12 or grind ports to suit an oval port manifold cheers Bruce
