On my old 1200 we got some springs from the back of either a 180b or 200b, they are heaps stiffer and we needed to cut about 1/2-1/3 of the coil off, it was pretty low though. For standard ride height you would prolly only need to cut 1/3-1/4 off.

Just measure the diameter and check out your local wreckers for some springs that have the same diameter but look beefier. ;)

ive hurd peolpe say that mitzi v3000 rear springs will fit and you can cut the coils to suit, im not sure so have a ferrit arround in the Tech Section for previous discussions.

I Would like some advice on what springs I can put under my 1200 coupe (front) that would be slightly stiffer than original, but not make it sit too high. In fact, I want the standard ride height.)
Do 200B springs fit? (A rumour I heard) What about Sunny springs? I figure that the sunny is very similar, and weighed just a wee bit more than a 120y.

I would like to keep things cheap, so second hand from wreckers will probably be the only option. I don't want to pay for new king or pedders springs unless I have to.

Thanks in advance.
