Heya John PM sent for a contact who does it all
very efficiently with very little mark up fee He does the searching usually and arranges it all. You could arrange a group buy maybe if others are interested as well. Its the cheapest way some can be had for the prices I mentioned eg. 250-450usd etc. As you know clutch pack setups on the ae86 are fantastic there are plenty of members that run them and others they take all the abuse from much more powerful engines

D - iirc you are in Japan currently - would you be interested in making a quick earn and sourcing a couple of them and sending them to Aus (I'll happily cover all costs (naturally including fixing you up for your time/effort) up front or front the money to purchase them then work out how to get them here or whatever suits)? I wouldn't need them 'yesterday' or anything like that - just stockpiling again sort of thing, but it occurs to me it'd be far easier to successfully get a couple of units here with someone over there sourcing them who can communicate direct to people here.
I'd be after a couple for myself primarily, but I'd also be up for helping organise/cover initial costs for a few more of them to be sent over and then distributed to other forum members. More than happy if you would prefer to go via private messages to work out the nitty gritty (and also have no problems if the whole thing is too much of a headache to bother about from the get go)

No need to spend that crazy money just go online and search
Yahoo auctions where the 1.5 AE86 LSDs that people fit the H165 range in cost from 25,000 to 50,000 yen or 280-550aud. They work well and much cheaper than Torsen not to mention if you wear out your torsen or have any issues you cannot rebuild them like clutch pack setups which also can be made using kevlar carbon stell plates these days.

sanitora-works do a 1.5way specially for a H165 - no mods just to be fitted into hemisphere by diff specialist
As a guide - fitting cost me $300 with new bearings included.
