maddat stuff good, but check with the engineer prior to using gearbox crossmember though, some dont like drilling through the floor pan and using sandwhich plates like the maddat one is designed to do

i had to change mine for that reason

#1 CA18DET in to 1200 Coupe - engineered
BishopB110 Posted on: 2015/5/25 4:11
Hi All,
I'm sure this topic has come up before, but I'm looking to put a CA18DET into my 1200 Coupe. I'll be using MAD DAT gear to get it in. My questions are:
Does anyone know if this can be done and have it engineered for road use?
Has anyone done this recently?
Does anyone know any workshops that would do the engineers report (I live in Sydney)?

Cheers for any help!
