Thought I had a photo of the light switch but couldn't find one

Yes, the headlight switch connects to the dash harness

Pin 4 is the illumination lights

Just wanting to confirm where specifically should the dimmer switch wire be connected to on the instrument panel?

Are you advising the spade connector in the image provided (i thought that was power to clock/tac lights)

As im unable to find where the dimmer wire connects to on the instrument panel or is there a wire on the harness the dimmer connects too?

I have checked my wiring diagrams in the books and here online can't find the exact location for where the dimmer connects or is it spliced into pin4?

At the actual instrument panel, it may be a different color (GL) and is pin 4



And remember they won't work until the cluster is bolted to the dash. The oil, alt, beam lights may work, but the illumination lights won't work until it is earthed

Mearure all the tracks on the back of the dash for the illumination with a multimeter to make sure there is continuity as well they do occasionally go open circuit and people solder a thin wire in to bypass broken tracks when that happens also.

Im just needing a hand to get my dash illumination lights work
I have all other dash lights work i.e (oil, alt, beam ect)

My headlights work fine for park, lights, beam and indicators

I only have an issue with dash illumination lights, i have checked the headlight switch but i just want to confirm for the dimmer wire separate from the instrument panel wiring, where should it be connected to?? is it earthed to the dash?

Just needing to work out this illumination its frustrating the hell out of me
