I ran 14 x 7 offset 0 on my 1200. With 175/60R14 tires, but had about 20mm flare in front (see Fender pulling)

Got a pair of Volk early style mesh 14x7 -0 today, they only just fit the front, would work if I was to get much smaller tyres. They fill out the rear nicely, so now to either find some 6/6.5s for the front or some 8s for the rear and skinny ass tyres for the 7s to run them on the front, whichever pair I find sooner.

It's been an eventful 2 weeks with my little Datsun. I was in an accident and wrote off my work car and have been working (electrician) out of the 'freshly on the road after 10years under a tarp' ute, which has given me plenty of opportunities to work out some of the bugs, which are to be expected.
Had a coolant leak so deleted the heater, had an issue where as soon as the headlights where turned on the temp gauge would soar to hot instantly (without actually heating up as would return to normal immediately after lights turned off) due to poor hot wire from alternator to battery aswell as terrible earths. Also had the left hand side indicators stop working so I have a tiny rock jammed in my indicator stalk to help make contact until a new stalk arrives from Thailand. Have ordered a new voltage reg aswell since voltages are a bit uneven all throughout the rev range. On the plus size I'm test fitting and if all goes well buying some Volk mashies on Saturday so I'm happy.

Well it got rego yesterday. And because it hasn't been registered since before vicroads changed from a paper registry to an electronic database, there is no record of the car since apparently it's quite common for the documents to be lost, so it's a 1972 car with its date or first registration as of yesterday haha!

Can't claim the steering wheel choice as it came with it, but i like it all the same. Do you know what model it's out of?
