Not too sure if it was substantial enough to warrant a ca18det conversion though..
So the a12 lives on 😀

Hey mate!
Tried extending it with the choke cable, failed.. thought about rigging up a hand throttle using the choke.. Gave up and trailered it home this morning

Hope it turned out well. The last time that happened to me, I tied a newspaper strap to it so I could operated the throttle by pulling it though the window, and managed to limp home (a bit faster than idling my way home)
Back then (around 1999) Nissan sold new cables for $7 USD (now aftermarket cables are $15) so I bought two and always kept a spare under the front seat
