Cheers ddgonzal. Not much is standard on the ol ute nowadays. The charcoal canister I have is not fitted with a check valve like the one in your picture. I'm pretty sure there isn't one leading back to the tank either. Thanks for the feedback!

![]() There is already one-way check valve on the charcoal canister (for the vacuum line) ![]() There is also a one-way check valve in the fuel vent line ![]() I think that valve is so that the engine won't pressurize the fuel tank The fuel cap on these models has a one-way check valve for vacuum relief ![]() The pressure relief for the tank is the vent line (pressure does not vent though the cap)

I'm getting alot of fumes in my 1200 ute so I thought I should hook up a charcoal canister. The question I have though is do I need to run a one way check valve on the vacuum line between the manifold and canister due to having a boosted system?
