These fellas do moulded carpets for Datsuns. Pretty sure they come with alayer of soundproofing too. If you weren't sure you could always put a moderate layer of sound deadening and trow the carpet over the top? Not really overkill is it? http://www.all-car-carpets.com.au/pag ... /_SEDAN/keyword//offset/0

Small update, pulled interior out everything except rear seat so far, so much old carpet and floor mats and rubbish. Have a set of old recaros (need a retrim) to go in after a rust repair in floor and some sound deadening. Cant upload pics for some reason but I will work that out later. What sound deadener are people using? Spray on stuff or dynamat?

Little bit of cleaning up and coating. I will be replacing the valance and rad support panels later this is just to clean up some surface rust and provide a barrier so nothing gets worse in the mean time. Yes there is overspray in places.

Hi mate how are you?No idea what the brand is,was half expecting it to fail on the dyno for the $400 odd I paid for it lol.It was purchased as a plug n play basically as I had no idea if it was all going to work!Anyway it did work and has done about 9 events now and still going!!Got a couple of mates that swear by them claiming to be almost as good as the genuine ones at a fraction of the cost.Re the manifolds...yes all fabricated in metal in the shed including the rail which is fitted with ca18det injectors although they are running at 85% duty cycle due to the E85,I have some 850cc ones to fit before we crank it up to 15psi sometime this year.Simon and others have assured me it will take that sort of boost on E85 without drama, worst case may have to give the head bolts a tickle more ha ha,and your toyota box on the back no stress and slicks on the 4 corners via a H165 locked...Cheers

You don't need forgies and steel head gaskets if you don't go overboard.I have 140 hp atw with a dead stock late model 1200 with home made injection and chinese gt28 (cheap still not failed)using Adaptronics confuser and E85 all track use pushing a measerley 8psi....do it!

D will have a think about it, not sure if I am going to use the original A12 or purchase a mates A14 short block and build it on the side.

Not really keen on E85 as it is not available out my way.
