How much is the hosting fee?

Easy fix: pay PBs hosting fee. Next easiest: Edit each post and add a th_ to the beginning of each filename (the PB thumbs still work on 3rd-party sites)

for example:

There are some good alternatives for that kind of size, like vgy.me, but I don't know of any that preserve the file path like photobucket.

total size is 1.9 GB. no idea on bandwidth or requests/month, but I never got a photobucket bandwidth warning

Do you have estimates of storage size, bandwidth per month, and number of requests per month?

Thanks for the tip

Thumbs still work

Test the extension with this bigger version:

I've been working on it ... have already "repaired" thousands of articles to show a valid (low quality) photo, and repaired the photo links, no extension needed

The next solution is replace all the links to another photo host, because Photobucket now has serious performance, and serious working problems. So even when we update the links, Photobucket is still messed up (refreshing the Photobucket page sometimes clears it up). Which is very sad because Photobucket hosting worked worked pretty well even when their site itself didn't. Our wiki has about 30,000 photos on Photobucket

Any ideas a new host? It needs to support original filenames and folder structure so I can FTP the whole set to the new host

This is working for me to get the destroyed photobucket pictures back. I would not regard this as a permanent fix but is working for me for now.

We should get to work on repairing at least the wiki.
