thanks for the replys,i cant screw any on because i dont have any.I had a closer look at the ones i am interested in and worked out that they have a collar that has 4 grub screws that u lock onto the spline then another grub screw on the handle that attaches it to the collar hense them being a universal design.They are only $15 so if they dont work its not to big of a loss.

I was thinking you could unscrew the window winder on your car, and count the splines. The diameter may be 10mm or 3/8"

Dunno about universal as even Datsun winders differ. B110/B210 winders screw on, while B310 clips on -- so they do not interchange

does anyone know whether or not the spline on the window regulator for the window winders is a universal size with other makes and models of cars?Im looking at buying billit winders of ebay and it states that they are universal.
