Hmmm ... looking at this diagram suggests you might need even less offset + flares. On my 1200s I measured the "back measure" at 89mm. Which is less than 1/2 of a 195-width tyre

No. Probably no issues in the rear, but in front the tyres will hit the strut/spring. To fit 195mm wide tires requires about +15 or +20 offset. Or you could use spacers. Either way 195s in the front will be very tight with stock fenders/guards. But is doable. You might also need to modify the footwell or pull the tires forward (extra castor)
