that color is very similar to the sunny cherry red the B10 cars had
its changes color in all different lighting conditions, its very nice.

Sooooo,, back again after a loooonnngg time..

The datto went in for painting and I got it back after almost 7 months.. The person working on the car could have done a much better job at everything but he chose not to.. Anyways, I gave him candy red paint and this is what I was given :(

From the time the car came back, I didn't have much time to do anything so did all I could in stages..

Installed a decent pair of Recaro seats in the front and removed the rear seats.
Got hold of SSR XR4 Longchamp wheels and threw in on the car..

Installed new carpet rug inside, made new door panels, headliner, upholstered the dash (The starlet dash is out, back to original)

The dual carb A15 plans are also down the drain now so threw on a A12 head with new gasket and stock A12 carb..

Hi glad to hear the project is still going

both photos look the same

About the front bumper you wish to sell, which type is it?

Buyers probably will want the bumper brackets too

I also have a few spare brand new bumpers if anyone is interested in purchasing it.
The front bumper is from the square face PB310 model and the rear bumper is from the 310 round face model.

So, during the last few months I was very busy and didn't have time to work on the Datsun. My brother who was helping me also moved away to another city. During that time, I managed to collect few Datsun goodies! Got some brand new fenders and bumpers. The fenders however is from the pre fave lift version. So I decided to switch to that look. Attached pictures are just a test fit of the new grill bumper and fender. Didn't get a new bonnet so will have to cut and shape to match the round edge of the grill

Those wires might be for passenger detection

Any ideas of compatible compressors?
Just about any compressor will work. Here they came with York type (upright piston type) or modern radial type. Some guys used a very small compressor, but most use the standard size used by 1980s-1990s Ford, GM, Toyota and Nissan. See our article Compressor brackets for photos and ideas -- especially the custom brackets which are fairly easy to make
