Hi CADET1200 Yeah it is for track. The increase from the S13 conversion is OK but he needs to confirm the stock offset to determine the source of the increase. In this case it’s to do with the hub location changing but the load on the hub isn’t changed so it’s ok, but he needs to have the offset substantiated to pass it. Everything else is ok, getting ready for final inspection!!

I thought someone would have the answer to this question by now. I suppose there's not to many 1200's running stock wheels these days anyway. That said you need more than just someone's measurement don't you Luke...you need it in published form from a reputable source.

I did have a look in the 'Wheels and Tyres' section of my Gregory's Workshop manual, but it only shows that it is a 12" pressed steel rim and details tyre sizes and inflation pressures.

Is this needed to judge any track width change with your new front end and wheels?

No, placard only give rim and tyre size it doesn't give offset unfortunately.

Does anyone know of where I might be able to find a published spec on the standard rims? I need to confirm the standard offset for Engineering purposes, so it has to be in a workshop manual or published document of some sort.

I have a few manuals, but they don't specify offset.

I can just source a stock rim so the Engineer can measure it, but it would be easier if I could find it on paper somewhere first. That might be my next post...
