If i go the DBW I can get rid of almost everything from the factory intake manifold as the secondary air system will be redundant.
No need for AAC, IAC or any of the coolant lines through the TB or intake.

Just need to simplify the coolant lines and maintain correct flow directions and volumes.

yeah just deciding whther to muck around getting it going on a standard ECU, or to go straight to the Haltech and Drive By Wire

Yep all of this helps to paint the picture a bit more clearly.
Thankyou everyone for your help and links.

I started with an essentially bare engine and a box of hoses, not all of them for this engine, now it is mostly sorted.

I believe both of these hoses across the back of the head are the heater hoses (goes to the firewall and into the heater core)
* One loops back and connect to the rear side of block
* One connects to the heater pipe fastened along the side of the engine

Here's some photos of the breather tubes (hoses missing). These may be EXA photos (in my country we only have the EXA/N13 engine) but the breather parts match the S13 diagram in the previous post

The block breather nipple is just above the oil filter. The short length of hose to the pipe is missing in the photo

The cam cover breather ... a hose goes between the two arrows

can't find a pic, but here's a re-working of the Nissan diagram from 1200ute's link

it's just standard hose and steel tubing
the arrow connects to the side of the cam cover

Yeah the top two PCV hoses are pretty straight forward, its the one from the block to the back of the Right hand rocker cover that i need a bit of guidance for.
Also the standard configuration of all the heater and water hoses that it is hard to figure out.
I think i have most of the stuff under the intake sorted, but its the heater return back to the block that is also hard to find a pic of.
Also Vacuum lines are all over the place too.

This is the PCV layout -- 2 hoses. since everyone uses custom air intake they use the air duct a little different but factory it goes on the elbow duct after the MAF and before the turbo
