Hey Tom,
Send me a PM or contact through facebook via Zero Tolerance Motorsport or even my website. Been running IPRA for a long time and can give good advice on the SR20ve route. Cheers,

Yes fuel injection/turbos/superchargers/webbers /bike carbs turbos and superchargers must run a restrictor.
The 45s i run use a 36mm choke for high rev power The CAMS manual is avaliable on line.

Greg the 39mm Keihins are the choke size were as DCOE 45s have much smaller choke size, I think those are 38mm but I know that varies with application.
One other thing I didn't even consider; does IPRA allow fuel injection in a 1200? I'm assuming so but thought it wise to ask.

The 5 speeds are not real strong compaired to the 6 speed even with a Ca18 in race mode

would be good to see the sr20ve inlet ports vs stock sr20de
I think the ve has smaller ports on the sr16ve version but uses revs to get the air speed and vtec like setup If the ve ports are small for the sr20ve you could get away with 45mm carbs but 48s seem to be the go for the DE motors I saw a 120y run 50mm itbs and its chews 5 speeds with its slicks owner was looking at rb25 conversion

I think they might be a bit small i run 45s onthe 1300.
We are not allowed to use the 6 speed unless you lock out 6th gear

Definitely would ditch the turbo; currently the flat slides are 39mm so those may or may not be too small.
A traditional distributor would be a plus for me even though it's a bit backwards. I've been eyeballing parts and everything seems pretty reasonable. Additionally the ratios in the six speed box are very good; I even calculated max rpm in 6th with the short tires I use and the 4.38 final drive. Comes out to 128mph at 7500 rpm.
