I wouldn't mind visiting the Demacoz motor museum one day, sounds like you've got quite the collection growing!

Fixed it!

I cheated and bought a wreck (actually 2) and one had a good clean tank.

The old tank may need work but I can put that off for a rainy day

Hi there

This stuff does a fantastic job in cleaning and sealing an old rusty tank

Fuel tank restoration kit

www.ppcco.com.au/por19.html

Not a quick process, but if you follow the steps and especially the washing and drying

A very good result on my tank

I started the wash out process with water only at first
Then some white vinegar mixed with water

That cleaned it up ok

But the results with the marine clean and the phosphoric acid I think it was in the kit

Could be happier

I have a better than factory new tank now.
To ensure a nice clean fuel supply

Good luck and follow the product instruction is my advice

Personal Protective equipment included

Cheers
