Matt how about billet female screw on sections
for the 1st and 4th and one piece female screw on
section for 2 and 3 exhaust outlets to suit some
straight male threaded pipe that meets to elbow fittings
straight pipe again to this 4 way also 5 way available
2 inch cast iron joint then billet screw flange on for your choice of turbo?

D --- That would be a perfect manifold for me to fit a plenum to.
Similar to the one I tried to make but failed
Nice setup
Am revisiting the twin Webber manifold Idea (mod the chassis rail)

Are we talking about a Turbo intake manifold or exhaust manifold?

I can make both.

they come up for sale in us ebay and yahoo japan once in while
and not expensive either as the carbs are not common or as popular
as a sidedraft setup

Reply to D - I looked at using a twin weber manifold but its not for a Datsun 1200. I have a chassis rail that would be in the way so it needs to be more "upswept"
Good idea though

It would take halve a brain SFA to DIY your won EFI inlet manifold these days
will all the bits available online.

Roland Twin weber manifold with cheap brass injection inserts (heaps of patterns)
250-300 aud all up
https://www.google.co.jp/search?q=bras ... _AUIEigC&biw=1326&bih=658
https://poojametal.com/brass-inserts-for-mouldings/

Xcessive manufacturing plenum 225usd

https://xcessivemanufacturing.com/niss ... ms-flanges-ui-efp-n1.html

or even cheaper 20 bucks from centre road wreckers and diy cut up a Hyundai v6 inlet

use Permatex 84209 PermaPoxy 4 Minute Multi-Metal Epoxy to bond it all
and self tap inserts for extra strength onto flat piece of alloy plate
to act as a flange to sit between them you can port flange to taper
into manifold inlets and Bobs your Aunty.

cheap and easy for any halve wit prob less than 700aud and will look awesome

As for exhaust manifold better pay someone to do one and if you do an inlet
design as mentioned above, then you can pay even for a billet unit with leftover
change from what some of these advertised custom ones are priced at.

Have just joined NFNR on Facebook to enquire about their EFI manifolds
Was not happy with the one I made so these guys look like theirs will fit my application on the Clubman7 - cost will be the factor as to whether I go with them or try again

I cant find the articles but to save time, money, driveability and engine life
Log style manifolds have proven to be better pre-5000rpm than longer equal length.
After 5k rpm for 4v heads and 6k rpm for 2v heads the difference is 10-15% peak power.
Whilst torque is substantially fatter in log style manifolds street applications.
VW, Fiat and Peugeot have some 1.2-1.4L turbo gas engines that make crazy torque
equal to NA v8 engines using log style manifolds, small turbo combos etc.
Turbo A series could be made to have a very healthy 1400-6000 rpm powerband than
having nothing happening from 4k rpm before they wake up from a coma.

On a similar note Austin Minis are getting 100hp atw from 1000cc engines
using AMR500 on very simple manifolds like the one below and seeing even
simpler compact billet ones that could also be made for Datto A setups.

I am making a 1018 mild steel CNC machined one soon, but most wont enjoy the price.
