yes
USA
* CA16DE - 1986-1987 KN13 Nissan Pulsar NX SE
* CA18DE - 1988-1989 KN13 Nissan Pulsar NX SE

This is the N12 with E-series engines
* 1982-1986

In the US, I usually do the B310 Electronic Distributor Swap which is a straight bolt in. The E15/E16 distributor is not higher performance, and needs modifications to fit the A-series engines. On the other hand it may be easier to get an E16 distributor with a good advance unit

The distributor swap uses an E-series engine distributor as in Pulsar N10 (1981 Datsun 310) or Pulsar N12

Your photos shows a 1988 Pulsar N13 which i think has a CA18DE engine

#1 Distributor swap from Pulsar to A series Engine

Found a salvage 1987 Pulsar NX model this weekend. Want to know if this is the correct vehicle for the distributor swap that is referenced in the Tech Wiki article. Is it worth the time and effort to do this to my A15 engine? Hood was not operable when I took these pics. If this is the correct vehicle is there anything else that I would need for the conversion? The A15 will be going into a Spridget. Thanks.
