Best to think pretty much 1200 body weight / 4. I'll be doing that for my rear coil-overs.

Again, dimlight comes in with a post that probably won't help. I don't know any numbers but what we did on the Chickenhawk was to remove one leaf from each rear spring. Our thinking was to soften the rear and get more weight transfer for acceleration. The car still handled like a rollerskate, but that was probably due to the fact that it was so low it bottomed out the axle on the frame pretty quickly. At that point, there was no more body roll. I guess thats also how I got away with no sway bars. A bit noisy, but effective.

sorry i should have been more specific. Im building a track and sprint club car so its prety much going to be only for the track and occasional road sprints.

poundage for what use???

Hey I was just wondering if anyone knew the best spring poundige for the rear springs. I just picked up a set of rear springs for $20 with new nolathanes in them. they are single or doubble (cant rember) leaf so im assuming the poundage has been change so im going to test them and id like to know what poundage they should be.
