I am going this route. I am looking at the Hyundai Accent throttle body.
The adaptor I am looking at importing from the UK. ![]() If I can find a complete MP9 VW kit I would go that route with some modification to the runners.

80kw with simple EFI (single injector/central fuel injection) and ECU-controlled spark

Ddgonzal I think u may have answered this in a previous post. So what sort of engine hp would I be looking at with an a10 bottom end, m30 head (which is the only head I have), around 15psi with a simple injection setup (fuel and ignition)?

that's awesome
* The log plenum looks like a Mazda unit modded for an A-series * The exhaust manifold looks rough, but how it works is more important * The intercooler is great for a 1-litre engine and can be mounted wherever I'd use it. Use a single Hitachi or SU carburetor and it's good to go. If you want to do EFI it's a lot more work, and needs more tuning, see $1200 EFI Turbo A12

A12s have a red line of 6400 rpm, meaning the stock valve springs are designed to reliably rev that high
Double valve springs create more friction, thus higher wear, lower fuel economy and less power. To make more power at higher RPMs, it needs more camshaft, large port head, and stiffer valve spring. And a willingness to rev it up and shift every few seconds

I have this ugliness for a round port in the shed
Home made by someone I bought it from a guy rather than him scrapping it... to this day not sure why Maybe for this moment

Just another thing. Say if my Max rpm was around 6500rpm. Do the stick m30 valve springs do around that. I think they are rated around 6000rpm but from memory, I think I might have been able to take my old stock a12 to around 6400rpm. Is this correct or should I look at double valve springs?

The head I have atm is the m30 a12 head. Would it be worth any effort to go a h75 or h89 if one pops up? Do u think supercharging would be a better street option then turbocharging? Also, a long time ago there was a very simple 1 injector setup for the a series, any idea where that info is? I recall there being a simple a12 injection setup maybe using daewoo or Hyundai parts. Was a long time ago

Using 5 mains will make it more reliable to rev thus gaining a bit more power? A10 with boost will best a high-rev A12 No need to upgrade head No need to rev high Just add boost. Keep the chamber cool, do not overheat. Avoid pinking and it'll be fine (reduced mechanical spark advance + rich mixture at all times) Remember that a 90hp boosted engine will accelerate a car quicker than a 100hp naturally aspirated one BOOSTED * 90hp at 5600 rpm, 90hp at 3000 rpm N/A * 100hp at 7000 rpm, 40hp at 3000 rpm This low-RPM horsepower is why the 2021 turbo vehicles are so quick. Just beware -- without careful spark and fuel control the engine will detonate. It'll work with a carburetor, but you may have to over-richen it to ensure it never goes lean You can view topic.
