Yep. Just to be different. Having a RHD sounds like it would be fun, at least it would be a conversation starter.

Converting sounds less inviting to me. These would have to be changed:

- Steering gearbox
- Steering linkage
- entire Dash assembly
- wiring
- pedals box
- clutch linkage (RHD uses cable)

I'd like to have a RHD because its probably the most unique "factory option" you can find. Kind of like non-US spec turn signals.

Why a RHD in the US?

Hey, there's reportedly a RHD 1200 in southern oregon ...

I reckon getting one from Portugal is the way to go. They are relatively affordable and they are 2-dr sedans. If you want a Coupe, Ute or 4-dr sedan, Australia would be the place to go.

Has anyone converted a LHD to RHD? Or vice/v. Would it just be cheaper and simpler to go east and buy one. Make a vacation out of it. My location, Northern California. Wanted, a RHD 1200 Sedan.
