We have a spare diff here ifyou want to have a look at it.It looks ok on the outside but has had water get inside through breather.May be we could work out a deal.Give Jim a ring on 33513655 if interrested.

Oh wow, that's a fair bit better than I've been able to do. By Monty's do you mean Monty's Competition Engineering? In Joyner or something...
Might give them a call... And then I need to look for a suitable diff :)

Monty charged $450 about 2 years ago to cut housing to suit and shoten and re spline axels

Any idea how much cutting down the diff cost? All the numbers I've been given are closer to the $1000 mark, which is a bit more than I'd like to spend...

One of my boys runs a 1200 wagon with SR20DET Trimatic & HI LUX diff.The diff is welded but LSDs are available. The diff was cut down here in Brisbane by Monty.Hope this might beofsome help.
