We don't run the U2L series here in Perth.......so I'll be doing some hillclimb and sprint events to start with

I really like those Datsun 1000, too bad we never got those here in the US. The Datsun 100 has something that reminds me of the Fiat cars, specially when lowered,the clear cut angles, cool cars.

that's pretty healthy output considering its a tight new engine and probably a couple of thousand rpm short of the intended redline? what capacity is it?

should be very interesting in a light sport sedan body.

Some sorta news
I still haven't updated the website cause my camera isn't working.......but.......
The body is now home in the shed and I have begun rubbing it back for its first coats of GOLDEN YELLOW.
The chassis went to the tuning shop to set the webbers up for initial runing in.
The result on the dyno....not that we were going for figures yet just doing a basic setup and tune.
124hp at the wheels at 6000rpm. We didn't want to redline it as its still a fresh tight engine.
Lightning fast accelleration too.

Should be fun when its all assembled and makes its maiden voyage in January.

Will try to update the site when I get a chance and some more pics.
