Yeah Ive got this problem too...I took an A!2 out of the sunny and replaced it with an A12 out of a 1200...different mounts. You have to actually make a bracket to suit like Andrew did and it will be OK. There are no adapter kits to suit this type of "conversion"

the passenger side mount on the block needs to come off the 120y motor being the a12 and put it on the a14 thats what i did and have had no troubles
1. bracket off passenger side a12 120y engine 2. put on the a14 on the passenger side

I have uploaded a pic here of a similar setup in my 1200 coupe. It shows the plate used to line up the engine with the mounts....quality is a bit crappy.....but it's heaps easier to use the phone than to rip the camera!
Cheers.

I'm with ddgonzal,
where did the A14 come from? also are you 100% its a A14? My experience tells me that an A14 should drop straight into a B210.

I've been told that the A12A wasn't sold in australia. It's a US version 1979-1982 with 1237cc instead of the A12 at 1171cc.
Could this A14 be out of a front-wheel drive car? Or maybe it's not an A14 ... look on the flat spot near the distributor, it will be stamped on the block.

I think your right A14 should go into 120Y without any mods needed maybe the A14 engine has different mount??? Not sure on that one Either way it easy to fix.

Shouldn't he not have to, having a 120Y and all?
Don't they already have A12A's in them? Did the new engine come out of a 1200 or something?

You could do the cheap and easy thing that I did !! get piece of 40x5 steel around 80mm long drill two holes the right distance appart one goes onto the engine mount the other onto the rubber. I had this setup in a old ute with warm A15 for years without any troubles From memory it was pretty close to the fuel pump.
