The only thing the Stewards saw it Wakefeilds way and i think Short got fined

I was at that meeting.
The stewards did not see it Wakefield's way - they merely decided that there was "insufficient evidence" against him - which is a joke to anyone who saw the footage both in car and external.
Oh yeah...Short did not get fined.

A couple of things to note:
1) QR is Wakefield's home track and he is a bit of a local hero.
2) If Wakefield was found guilty, his trip the following round to New Zealand in the V8's would have been Jeopardised.

I'm not suggesting there was any bias of course.
Just my 2 cents...

.. it was a Huge hi speed impact which i feel could have been avoided .. Shorts car got away first on the standing start in the race, it was good to see w a 120y walk away from the Rotories on the first lap .. The Rotories seemed to carry more corner speed.. which is why he went slowly back ...

not without exposing me to a liable suit. but I'll give you a short version sticking only to the facts

umm, maybe I should preface this with the word...allegedly...

Wakefeild started at the rear of the grid in that race, and forced his way thorugh the feild. When he came up on Mark who was in 3rd place at the time, through turn 1, and then tried to dive inside into turn 2. Mark left him enough room, even though he hadn't quite managed to get alongside him before they turned in. Because he was a little wider than normal, Mark had to lift a little on the exit to stay on track which allowed Wakefeild to get alongside him on the inside after the exit of the corner at the top of the long back straight. When the 120Y came on boost again after that lift, he started to pull away from the rotor so Wakefeild simply turned hard left into him! They were well and trully on the straight by that stage. The force of the hit from Wakefeild's wagon rammed Mark's 120Y straight into the concrete wall on the outside of the track - it was a huge impact, and damaged Wakefeild's steering which broke when he got to turn 3 and he went straight into the gravel.

That's the short version with any contentious bits deleted, and no mention of any of the earlier incidents in that race, or the after effects of the incident. There is unequivocal video evidence from both in car and spectator points to totally corroborate what is said above.

Silly thing is, he is that fast, he would have got Mark one or two turns later...

Can I ask how the accident with Wakefield happened?
