geez, that sounds like a real tight squeeze. grant from performanz in welshpool has that setup in his 120y drag car. have you seen it? he had to cut a big chunk of strut tower out to clear the turbo thats the size of a damn pumpkin!

brakes upgrade disc's and calipers
ive got venterlated disc 's with Girlock caliper. just buy the motor box and wiring loom,radiator .. save u money for other thing's that will be needed for the conversion.. hope this helps..

90% sure its not aloud but 2 make sure check with your local engineer..
costs will be about installed in standard with computer and aftermarket computer will be about 6000$ pending on if u wanna change your diff brakes.. ect hilux diff will hold any sr20det or ca18det from a fully bombed or standard motor as the axels are the same as a 9''diff would be a sweet ride witha sr20det wish i could of installed one in my ute! but ca18det is just as good as a sr20 if not better.

Hilux Diffs are extremely strong the axles are as strong as a 9 inch.

is it legal in W.A?
how much to do most of it myself? is it cheaper to source parts or get a half cut? what brakes are a good conversion? and i have been told that hilux diffs are really strong is that true and would a hilux diff take the punishment of a slighly worked SR20DET? You can view topic.
