Hi all.
I need some help with the subject.
I want to powder coat my tappet cover grey and the "Datsun" name I want to spray with heat resistant spray black.
Will the powder coating not prevent the tappet covers metal from "breathing".I heard that you can powder coat it but not on the inside of the tappet cover as the engine will run hotter that normal.Is this true?
Those of you who did spray their tappet covers, will normal body spray work on it or will the heat damage the paintjob.
I am thinking of spraying it then with normal body spray if the powder coating is not allowed. thanks
