Tap it gently with a soft hammer to loosen it a little, then wrap your hand firmly around it. Work it steadily for a little while, & as it gets close use short but fast motions & it will come out for you, no problem.
Reinstall[?] with some sealant & a hammer. I never used Stilsens as they damage the shaft with nasty teeth marks.

Are you blanking it off with a core plug ?
Is this a problem ? as I intend doing this with my engine. I plan to runb a dry sump so the engine will work in a vaccuum so I assume I can plug it without hurting anything.

Yes with a dry sump setup plugging this off won't create any issues... in fact you'd have to block it off somehow... weather taking it out and plugging it or just simply plugging the end.

What are you talking about? The question was about breather pipe removal, & thats what i responded to. I don't know what you have on your mind, but it can't be crankcase ventilation. I use this method so that the spiggot isn't damaged & i can refit it after block cleaning & reconditioning. You can view topic.
