When adding a photo to a post it askes for the URL what is that???

Computer Stupid I am!!!

if you right click on the picture and select "Properties" it will show you the pics address, this is its URL

A few more details:

- the picture must already be on the Web somewhere (on this site or on another site)
- Get the properties of the picture, as phunkdoktaspok explained. Copy the address (URL)
- In your post, click the IMG button, and paste the picture's URL

it doesn't have to be. You can take the URL to be the place on your pc aswell.

e.g. C:\Documents and Settings\My Documents\My Pictures
just add on the file name, e.g. \2536.jpg

A address starting with "C:" is not a URL. Yes, you can paste it into the IMG box, but it won't show up on the Web site. It might display for you sitting in front of that PC, but for the rest of us, we don't have that same picture on our C: drive.
