E15t in a sunny 310?

is it possible? I read about someone doing it. I know the dizzy is in the back and is a minor problem. The E15t will hook to the A seriess tranny except for 1 bolt. What about engine mounts?
I'm asking because I have an e15t sitting waiting to go in my b11 sentra once all the parts show up and i deal with making the ga16 wiring harness run it.

Yep it is possible. Some very spectacular successes have been had with this engine by Intune auto motive in Alice Springs in off road racing in a B210 ute.
It is also highly desirable as the ET engine can be made to punch out 11 second 1/4's in FWD form so in RWD vehicles even better with good hookup??????? See Ben Murphy's Murphy race developments N12 turbo ET on fullboost.com

why does the e15t seem to get no respect re: swaps. yeah the ca18det is more power, but heavier, etc...
if i had the e15t running today i'd try it!

They just dont do their home work.
The engines are extremely reliable and the red rocker versions from the B11 sentra piazza coupes go really well with a bit of massaging.

Hall effect crank angle sensor on the crank pulley. A good aftermarket ECU (Wolf, Haltech, Autronic, Motec) with individual cylinder coils. An S14 T25 turbo with 0.8 compressor housing and your away. Should be good for 250 hp??? Lotsa bucks though but would be very nice in a 1200 or sunny with a 63A box
![]() I have seen an electramotive CAS programable ignition kit on an E15 with webers.

I take partial offence at that Feral
But we are all allowed our own opinions.Find a RWD gearbox to fit on the E15 easily. Find one that makes more than 200kW@wheels in any form, and seriously find common parts to maintain this engine. It's been well "EOL'ed" by everyone. EOL= End of Life. Not to mention dizzy problems, and "barbie girl components" East-west engines are for hairdressers. Chris

more and more i wish i were using a standalone ecu on the e15t. I suppose it's not too late still... It's just a big pile of money to start. So if i were to use a standalone, I could have an engine that would work in either the 310 or the b11...hmmm save lots of money on parts that way.

why does the e15t seem to get no respect re: swaps I think its just an image thing. An E15 simply isn't trendy enough. If you can't say it's SR'd or CA'd, it just ain't cool dude. I think it would be a great swap. The dissy is a bit inconvenient, but it certainly isn't a show-stopper. Quote: Find a RWD gearbox to fit on the E15 easily. umm, someone hasn't been listening... Quote: Find one that makes more than 200kW@wheels in any form, as feral said, there's plenty of ET Pulsars running very quick times with these engines, and they've got the "wrong wheel drive" disadvantage!
