i remember seeing on a japanese site a pair of nutter who took a liking to an SR20 in an S13.
they removed the EFI completely and retrofitted a pair of solex sidedrafts after the turbo. it worked - not very succesfully by the looks of the dyno figures, but it worked. anyways, why not look at using one of the carbies in a draw thru setup?

is there an advantage using twin webbers over say a 32/36?

Definately. Any downdraft carb on the stock intake will never amount to anything in the same league as twin side drafts. The side drafts make much more high rpm power.

you cant use any old carby effectively on a blow through set up as they need a different seal set up on the shafts etc. also i think it ####s with the float and jetting? suck through you have to be carefull your inlet tract isn't to long or the fuel can drop out and you end up with pools of fuel in your pipework. big bang!!! go efi
