Buff
Posted on: 2004/9/4 1:25
I have what I believe to be a Wade camshaft.
with the following markings 140 x 09 on one end. 72-6 107 on the other. I'm in need of the camshaft specs, eg lift and duration etc so as to ensure it is dialed in correctly. Can anyone help?? Feral perhaps Would be much appreciated.

Wade 140C grind (if that is it)
Inlet 38 - 79, valve lift 0.464" Inlet lift @ TDC 0.079" exhaust 77 - 38. Lift 0.429" You would have to check these specs before use.

Thanks guys, and yeah I've contacted Wade but still waiting to hear a response back.
They have a camshaft identification table on their website (under popular profiles, then A series) It shows a 140 profile but I just wasn't sure what the "x09" part meant. Thats if it has any meaning at all, they could all be stamped with that. Your thoughts....... Also Feral, would be interested in an adjustable cam gear setup also.

I am waiting on some to be made up as I bought 10 new gears but they are still in the sausage machine waiting to come out.
