how to tell what engine it has.open drivers door(right side door).fold seat back forward if
possible.look under drivers seat belt where it disappears into the trim.the silver plate that should be there will tell you if its an a15 or an a12.it'll also tell you if it's a 4.1 or 4.6 diff ratio. just look for h*41 or h*46.the number is the diff ratio.if you can't find a plate there, look under the drivers seat.there might be a flap in the carpet,& under this flap will be the silver plate.this will mean it's an urvan,& probably have a z20 or z24.it'll still have a h190,but the axles will be the large variety.either a 4.1 or a 4.3.

how strong are these axles in these rear ends? How big are the alxes? how much power/torque will they handle?
I'm thinking of using one but would like to know how strong it is first. thanks
