Does anyone know either one of these are fairly easy to put in. Im thinking of putting one in my 120Y, would it be almost a straight bolt in?

Just as an idea how much $$ do you reckon one in alright condition might cost?

a running reliable A15 engine could go for anything up to $800 i guess (maybee more for port work or other mods). My A15 was $150 and was in pretty crap condition and even had 1 dead piston. (short engine)

If you have an A14 your car will be registered in the 1100cc-1499cc range. as soon as u go A15, your car moves into the 1500-2000cc range. (little bit cheaper if u have the A14)

soo true !

Devious-Jet try a wrecker for a nissan vanette, some of the old ones run an A15 with a nice diff too. not sure about the column shift arrangement on those though. i know of a wrecker in Orange who have A15's lying in their stock shelves. theyre out there still youll find one.
downnote - after i bought my A15 i found a service station 1 suburb away from where i live who had an A14gx engine & stumpy 5 speed but had sold it 2 weeks earlier. BUMMER.
the owner of the A14gx used to run it in his coupe that he would sleep in when he visitted snow fields once a year. cooold

but the A12 or a late mddel sunny smoth box (I think that is what they are called....no external ribbing like a 120y box) Will fit an A15 yeah?

All the boxes that fit A12s fit A15s.
