Yeah fellow Datsun buddies, I need help in finding the EGR Valve or the valve thats in my A15 engine that is for emission control. I feel the valve clog because I find that I'm burning a little to much gas.

Unless it's a quite late model 1978+, it probably doesn't have an EGR valve.

I have the B210 Datsun 120Y, but the engine is not the original A12, its an A15 that came out of a later model probably the 1979-80 model.

Could be that. the EGR is "exhaust gas recirculation" valve. So it will be an ugly valve thing that recycles some of the exhaust gas back into the intake. Late seventies EGR valves are about 4cm in diameter. Like I said...big and ugly And not particularly efficient.

Look for something that fits that description.
