These have a universal bolt pattern, quite a few Wheel manufacturers have done this, So yeah, nothing really unusual, unless your talking about something else

but its illegal to have 2 joined stud holes I'm sure (slots are illegal I know) Or is this specifically a competition wheel?
EDIT - ok maybe they're not joined, just VERY close together

I have never heard of this type of rim being illegal, but normally they have a centre cap that would hide the truth.

it wouldnt be illegal, cause i dont think that car is going any where a public road in a hurry. but on a road car, it is more than likely illegal, but like said before, the centre cap would hide that from the police
